101 Talbot County to wit The State of maryland To the Sheriff of Talbot County I hereby certify to all persons whom it doth or may concern that M.r Robert Kemp of the County and State aforesaid came and proved to my Satisfaction that the bearer hereof (a black woman named "Priscilla" who is now about Thirty nine years of age 5 feet 2 Inches high has no notable marks or Scars is the Identicle person set free by Miss Elizabeth Bowman of the county and State aforesaid In Testimony whereof &c this 18.th day of april 1815 (Seal) JLoockerman Clk
Came and proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a mulatto woman named Esther who is now about twenty five years of age 5 feet 2¼ Inches high has one very large scar on her right arm between the elbow and the wrist occasioned (as she says) by a burn is the identicle person manumitted and set free by M.r Philip Rigby of the County and State aforesaid In Testimony & this 10th day of may A.D. 1815 JLoockerman Clk |
