                                Negro Henry Harris

    State of Maryland Harford County Sct:
                I hereby Certify that negro Henry Harris the bearer hereof aged
about Twenty Two years about Five feet Nine and a half inches high having
a scar in his forehead running ^circularly from the left corner of the right^ upwards over his left eye and one on his right
elbow proceeding from a scald of a black complexion a little tinged with
yellow born in Harford County is free and became so in virtue of a deed
of manumission executed this day by Joseph Stevenson and recorded
among the Land records of Harford County Court
                            In Testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand and
                            affix the seal of my Office on this First day of June
                            in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred
                            and Twenty Five

                                  Negro Matilda Harris

State of Maryland Harford County Sct:
            I hereby Certify that negro Matilda Harris the bearer hereof aged about
Twenty Six years of age and about Five feet and an inch high of a black complexion
tinged with yellow having a large scar above the second joint of her right thumb and
a small round depressed round mark near the end of the right side of her nose is
born in Harford County is free and became so in virtue of a deed of manumission
executed ^by Joseph Stevenson^ on the First day of the present month and recorded among the land records
of Harford County Court
                            In Testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand and affix the seal
                            of my Office on this Third day of June in the year of our Lord
                            One thousand Eight hundred and Twenty Five
                                                             Henry Dorsey Clk Harfd Coty Court
