                                            Negro Jane Prigg

State of Maryland Harford County Sct:
                I hereby Certify that negro Jane Prigg the bearer hereof aged about
Twenty Six years about Five feet Three and a half inches high of a dark Copper
Colored complexion having a scar upon the left side of her neck and a black mole just
behind her left jaw bone is a free woman and became so in virtue of a deed of
manumission executed by on the Thirty First day of May Eighteen hundred and
Twenty one by Edward Prigg and recorded in Liber H. D. N 5 Folio 210 one of
the Land record books of Harford County Court
                            In Testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand and affix the
                            Seal of my Office on this Thirteenth day of June in the year
                            of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and Twenty Five

                      I hereby Certify that negro Jacob Chew the bearer hereof aged about
Twenty Six years about Five feet Eight inches and a quarter high of a black complexion
shaded with yellow having a black looking scar occasioned by a burn ^on his right cheek bone^ is a free
man and became so in virtue of a deed of manumission executed on the Fourteenth
day of October Eighteen hundred and Thirteen and recorded in Liber H. D. No Y.
