D. No W Folio 296 One of the Land Record Books of Harford County Court In Testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand and affix the seal of my Office on this Fourteenth day of May in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and Twenty Four Identified by James Carroll Henry Dorsey Clk Harfd Coty Ct as per affd.t filed Negro Phyllis State of Maryland Harford County Sct I hereby certify that Negro Philis the bearer hereof about Five feet Two and Three quarter inches high and of a black complexion is a free woman and became so in virtue of a deed of manumission made and executed by William Robinson ^of Harford County^ on the day of the date hereof and recorded among the Land Records of Harford County Court In Testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand and affix the seal of my Office on this Seventh day of June in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and Twenty Four Identified by Wm Robinson Henry Dorsey Clk Harfd Coty Ct affidavit filed Negro Valentine Spencer State of Maryland Harford County To Wit I hereby certify that negro Valentine Spencer the bear hereof five feet Eleven Inches high about thirty three years of age of a yellowish Complexion has a scar below the year on the right Cheek and a high forward became free by virtue a deed of manumission on the 18.th Day of May 1824 made by James Carroll of said County duly Executed and recorded among the Land Records of Harford County Court In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affix the seal of my office |
