                                        Negro Jeremiah

    State of Maryland Harford County Sct
                I hereby certify that negro Jeremiah ^the bearer hereof^ about Thirty Six years of
age about five feet eight inches and three quarters high of a black complexion
shaded yellow having a scar and lump upon his forehead above
the left eye a scar upon the second joint of the middle finger and one
upon the thumb of his left hand and a large scar upon the outer side
of his left foot was freed by virtue of a deed of manumission executed
by Richard Farmer of Harford County on the Fourth day of March
in the year Eighteen hundred and Twenty Three and recorded in Liber
H. D. No 6 Folio 456 one of the land record books of Harford County
Court on the Tenth day of March Eighteen hundred and Twenty Three
       In Testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand and affix the
   Seal of my Office on this First day of October in the year
of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and Twenty Three
Granted upon the application in            Henry Dorsey Clk Harfd Coty Ct
writing of Richard Farmer


                                        Negro Dolly Holliday

    State of Maryland  Harford County Sct:
                I hereby certify that negro Dolly Holliday ^the bearer hereof^ about Five feet one and a
half Inches high of a yellow complexion lame in her right knee has^ving^ a mark near
her right corner of her mouth and aged about Twenty Five years is free and
became so in virtue of a deed of manumission executed by Michael Mather
on the Tenth day of April Seventeen hundred and Ninety Eight and recorded
in Liber J L G No N Folio 600 one of the land Record Books of Harford
County Court whereby her mother negro Beck and all her children were
manumitted
                In Testimony whereof I hereto set my hand and affix the seal of my
                Office on this Seventeenth day of November in the Year of our Lord
                one thousand Eight hundred and Twenty three
