and a half high was manumitted by a deed executed by William
Wilson dated the Second day of July Eighteen hundred and Four and
recorded among the land records of Harford County Court
       In Testimony whereof I hereto set my hand and affix the seal of
       my Office on this Eighteenth day of June in the Year of our Lord
       One thousand Eight hundred and twenty Three

                                        Negro Harry

              I hereby certify that negro Harry the bearer hereof aged about
Twenty eight years of a black complexion Five feet Seven inches in height
has a large scar upon the shin of his right leg a scar upon the back of his right
hand near the middle finger a horizontal scar in the middle of his forehead
and a small round one just under the one last mentioned also a horizontal
scar on the forehead over the left eyebrow and was manumitted by Josias
William Dallam late of Harford County by a deed [illegible]
is the son of negro Nance who was manumitted by a deed executed by
Josias William Dallam and dated on the Thirteenth day of March
Seventeen hundred and Eighty Seven and recorded on the tenth day
of April in the same year in Liber J. L. G. No H Folio 77 one of
the Land Record Books of Harford County Court and that the said
Harry is free and became so in virtue of the beforementioned deed
       In Testimony whereof I hereto set my hand and affix the seal
of my Office on this Fifth day of August in the year of our Lord
One thousand Eight hundred and Twenty Three
