(15 I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of my Office this 18th day of October 1820 Identified by Henry Henry Dorsey Clk Watters ^of sixteen^ as p.r afft filed Negro Jinney State of Maryland Harford County to wit I hereby certify that the bearer hereof negro Jinney five feet two and an half inches high thirty years of age became free on the twenty seventh day of December last in virtue of a deed of manumission made by Isaac Kennard of said County duly executed and recorded amongst the land records of Harford County Court The said negro Jinney has a mole below the left eye has a scar near the left corner of the right eye brow has another scar on the left fore finger near the end has a thin visage and was raised in the County aforesaid Intestimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of my office this 28th day of April 1820 Identified by Alfred Kennard Henry Dorsey Clk as p.r aff.t filed Negro Jane State of Maryland Harford County to wit I hereby certify that the bearer hereof negro Jane five feet four and an half inches high forty three years of age became free on the twenty first day of April Eighteen hundred and eighteen in virtue of a deed of manumission made by William Smithson of said County and duly executed acknowledged and recorded amongst the land records of Harford County Court The said negro Jane has a scar on her forehead and the finger next to the little one on the left hand is crooked has a round face and was raised in the county aforesaid In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of my office this eighth day of June Eighteen hundred and twenty one Identified by Wm Smithson Henry Dorsey Clk as per aff.t filed |
