14) Negro Rachel State of Maryland Harford County to wit I hereby certify that the bearer hereof negro Rachel (otherwise married Rachel Wilson) five feet four and three quarters inches high forty two years of age of a dark complexion became free on this fourteenth day of October 1820 in virtue of a deed of manumission made by Freeborn Brown of said County duly executed and recorded amongst the land records of Harford County Court The said negro Rachel otherwise named Rachel Wilson has a scar upon her breast and one ^one^ other on her right arm and another near her right wrist and was raised in the County aforesaid Intestimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of my office this 14th day of October 1820 Identified by Sarah Henry Dorsey Clk G Husband as p.r afft filed Negro Margaret State of Maryland Harford County to wit I hereby certify that the bearer hereof negro Margaret five feet three inches and three quarters of an inch high supposed to be fifty two years of age of a dark complexion became free on the sixteenth day of april 1803 in virtue of a deed of manumission made by Stephen Watters of said County duly executed and recorded amongst the land records of Harford County Court The said negro margaret has a blemish in her right eye has several scars on her right arm one other on her right hand between the wrist and thumb one other on her breast two scars on the right knee and one on the right thigh and was raised in the County aforesaid Intestimony whereof |
