County aforesaid   In testimony whereof I have hereunto
set my hand and affixed the seal of my office this 8th
day of April 1819

                               Negro Rachel

State of Maryland  Harford County to wit
       I hereby certify that the bearer hereof negro Rachel
5 feet 3½ inches high 38 years of age of a dark yellow
complexion became free on the 11.th day of June 1818
in virtue of a deed of manumission made by Sophia Hendon
of said County duly executed and recorded among
the land records of Harford County Court the said
negro Rachel has a scar between her two breasts
occasioned by a burn another on her right arm and
one other on the joint of her big toe on the left foot
and was raised in the County aforesaid   Intestimony
whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the
seal of my office this 5.th day of May 1819

                      Negro Alexander (son of Amy)

State of Maryland  Harford County to wit
    I hereby certify that the bearer hereof negro Alexander
5 feet 6½ inches high about 25 years of age of a dark
complexion became free at the age of 24 years in
virtue of a deed of Manumission made by John Lee Webster
of said County duly executed and recorded amongst
the land records of Harford County Court  the said
negro Alexander has a scar on the joint of his right
big toe one other on his right knee several others
on his right leg a number of others on his left knee
and leg a great number on both of his hands and
was raised in the County aforesaid   Intestimony
whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed
