                                Negro Luke Coleman

State of Maryland Harford County to wit
       I hereby certify that the bearer hereof Negro Luke Coleman
about 21 years of age 5 feet 8 inches high was born free
the said negro Luke Coleman has a scar on his left thumb
one other on his left fore finger and one other on his right
knee and was raised in the County aforesaid and
has a scar on his right arm and neck   Intestimony
whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the
seal of my office this 31st day of March 1819

                            Negro Ellen Black

State of Maryland Harford County to wit
      I hereby certify that the bearer hereof negro Ellen Black
five feet 2¼ inches high about 29 years of age was
born free the said negro Ellen Black was raised in
the County aforesaid has a scar on her right arm has
a mole on her neck has a scar over the right eye
and one other on her right foot   Intestimony whereof
I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of
my office this 31st day of March 1819

                            Negro Chloe

State of Maryland Harford County to wit
       I hereby certify that the bearer hereof Negro Chloe
5 feet 3 inches high 39 years of age of a dark complexion
became free in the 25.th day of December
1804 in virtue of a deed of manumission made by Joanna
Mather of said County and duly executed and
recorded amongst the land records of Harford
County Court  the said negro Chloe has the following
scars one on her right arm one other on her left arm
and another on her throat occasioned by a cut has
a blemish in her left eye and was raised in the
