                      Negro John (son of yellow Suck)

State of Maryland  Harford County to wit
      I hereby certify that the bearer hereof negro John
five feet five and three quarters inches high about
25 years of age of a dark complexion became free at
the age of twenty four years in virtue of a deed of
Manumission made by John Lee Webster of said
County duly executed and recorded among the
land records of Harford County Court the said
negro John has several scars on his eye brows one
other on the back of his head one other on his left arm
and another on his left great toe and was raised
in the County aforesaid   In testimony whereof I
have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of
my office this 18.th day of May 1819

                            Negro Margaret

State of Maryland  Harford County to wit
I hereby certify that the bearer hereof negro Margaret
5 feet 1½ inches high about 25 years of age was
born free the said negro margaret has a scar on
the back of her right hand one other on the end of
her middle finger on the right hand another on her
right arm another on her breast and was raised in
Harford County      In testimony whereof I have
hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of
my office this first day of June 1819
