                               Negro Jonas

State of Maryland Harford County to wit
    I hereby certify that the bearer hereof Negro Jonas about
28 years of age 5 feet 6½ inches high of a dark yellow
complexion became free from and after the first day
of August 1817 in virtue of a deed of manumission made
by John Lee Webster of said County duly executed and
recorded among the land records of Harford County Court
the said negro Jonas has a scar on his left fore finger
occasioned by a cut one other on his left wrist has
lost one of his fore teeth is bow legged and was raised in
the County aforesaid      Intestimony whereof I have
hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of my office
this 30.th day of March 1819

                               Negro Equality

State of Maryland Harford County to wit
    I hereby certify that the bearer hereof Negro Equality
about 26 years of age 5 feet 5¾ inches high of a dark
complexion became free from and after the first day
of August 1818 in virtue of a deed of manumission
made by John Lee Webster of said County duly executed
and recorded among the land records of Harford County
Court  the said Negro Equality has a short flat nose
a scar on the left eye brow another on the left thumb
and one other on the right hand and was raised in the
County aforesaid   Intestimony whereof I have hereunto
set my hand and affixed the seal of my office this 30th
day of March 1819
