36)                     Mulattoe Hetty Rice

State of Maryland  Harford County to wit
       I hereby certify that the bearer hereof Mulattoe Hetty ^Rice^ five
feet four inches high about fifteen years of age of a bright
yellow complexion has a scar on the back of her neck
good pleasant countenance was born free and was raised
in the County aforesaid   In testimony whereof I
have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of
my office this seventeenth day of October Eighteen hundred
and ten                                 Henry Dorsey Clk

                            Negro Stephen

State of Maryland  Harford County to wit
             I hereby certify that the bearer hereof Negro Stephen five feet
nine inches high between twenty six and twenty seven years of age
of a black complexion large mouth thick lips broad flat nose
good countenance when spoken to and is much marked with the
small pox became free at the age of twenty five years in
virtue of a deed of manumission made by Buckler Bond
of said county and duly executed and recorded.  The said
negro Stephen has a large scar on the calf of the right leg
and was raised in the county aforesaid      In testimony whereof I
have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of my
Office this twenty ninth day of October in the year Eighteen
hundred and ten
