                Negro Abraham               (35

State of Maryland Harford County to wit
       I hereby Certify that the bearer hereof Negro
Abraham five feet six and a half Inches high
about twenty six years of age became free on
the Seventeenth day of August in the year Eighteen
hundred and ten by virtue of a Judgment of Harford
County Court the said Negro Abraham has a scar
on the inside of his right wrist and is tollerably
black         In Testimony whereof I have hereunto
set my hand and affixed the seal of my office this
twentieth day of August Eighteen hundred and ten
Sam.l Bradford               Henry Dorsey Clk
Knew this to be the
same person freed as
above stated


                      Negro David

State of Maryland   Harford County to wit
             I hereby certify that the bearer hereof Negro David five feet
seven inches high about forty two years of age of a dark brown
or yellow complexion square made has ^the^ following scars
one near his chin on the right side thereof one above the right
eye brow on the left side one on the right leg one other near
the fore finger of the right hand   the small finger on
his left hand crooked near the end and has a small
lump near the collar bone which (he says) was occasioned
by his having the collar bone broken the said David became
free on the eleventh day of February Eighteen hundred and seven
in virtue of a deed of manumission made by John Coleman
of said County and duly executed and recorded and
was raised in the county aforesaid   In testimony whereof
I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of my
office this seventeenth day of October Eighteen hundred and ten
Negro David is personally known by         Henry Dorsey Clk
me to ^by^ the person mentioned in the
manumission of M.r Coleman   (B. G.)
