32)                    Negro Esther

State of Maryland   Harford County to wit
       I hereby certify that the bearer hereof negro Esther five
feet two and an half inches high about twenty six years of
age of a black complexion became free on the tenth day
of May in the year Eighteen hundred and ten by virtue of
a deed of manumission made by Isaac Kennard of said
County and duly acknowledged and recorded   The said
Negro Esther has a scar on the left arm and one on her
right arm and one on her right hand thumb round face
and a good countenance and was raised in the county
aforesaid   In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my
hand and affixed the seal of my office this twelfth day
of May Eighteen hundred and ten

as per affidavit filed


                         Negro Joe

State of Maryland   Harford County to wit
    I hereby certify that the bearer hereof Negro Joe five feet six and one
half inches high about thirty four years of age of a black complexion
became free on ^the^ fourteenth day of May in the year Eighteen hundred
and ten by virtue of a deed of manumission made by John Rumsey
Executor of Benjamin Rumsey deceased of said county and
duly acknowledged and recorded   The said negro Joe has
a scar near the first joint of the great toe on his left foot and
two scars on his breast pleasant countenance and was
raised in the county aforesaid      In testimony whereof I have
hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of my office this
nineteenth day of May Eighteen hundred and ten
                                              Henry Dorsey Clk
The said negro Joe at the time this
pass was granted produced his manumsn
which described him so fully that it
spersedes the necessity of an affidavit
