                Negro Cumberland            (33

State of Maryland  Harford County to wit
    I hereby Certify that the bearer hereof Negro Cumberland
five feet eight inches high twenty one years of
age verry Black became free on the twenty fifth day
of May in the Year Eighteen hundred and ten by
virtue of a Deed of Manumission made by Peter
Wilson of said County and duly acknowledged and
recorded the said negro Cumberland has a scar about
the middle of his forehead and a small scar beetween
his Eyes is a likely fellow and has a pleasant
Countenance      and was raised in the County aforesaid
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed the seal of my office this twenty sixth
day of May Eighteen hundred and ten

                Mulattoe William Blackston

State of Maryland  Harford County to wit
       I hereby certify that the bearer hereof William Blackston
a bright mulattoe five feet five and half inches high about
twenty two years of age was born free.  The said William
Blackston has a scar on the left arm and another on the
right arm both near the elbow and has one other above
the left corner of his left eye a pleasant countenance
and was raised in the county aforesaid   In testimony whereof
I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of my office
this twenty fifth day of July Eighteen hundred and ten
