24)               Mulattoe Herbert Bennet ||

State of Maryland  Harford County to wit
                      I hereby certify that the bearer hereof Mulattoe
Herbert Bennet five feet eight inches high about twenty
six years of age of a bright yellow complexion became
free on the eleventh day of August in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and eight by virtue of a Judgment
of Harford County Court         The said Herbert Bennet
has a scar on his right ear and one on his left hand
between the wrist and the palm of said hand and is
square made ||      In Testimony whereof I have hereunto
set my hand and affixed the seal of my office this
twenty third day of August in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and eight

The said Herbert Bennet
being personally known by
me it supersedes the
necessity of ^his^ being sworn to
                               B Guyton


                                  Negro Aquila

State of Maryland   Harford County to wit
                I hereby certify that the bearer hereof Negro
Aquila five feet three & a half inches high about twenty one
or two years of age of a black complexion became free
on the twenty fifth day of December in the year Eighteen hundred
and seven in virtue of a deed of manumission made by Israel
morris of the county aforesaid and duly executed and recorded
    The said negro Aquila has a scar on his forehead and
one on the fore finger of his left hand between the first and
second joint has a flat nose and is very square made
and was raised in the county aforesaid
    In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed the seal of my office this twenty fifth day of August
