                        Negro Abraham Forwood

    State of Maryland Harford County to wit:
             I hereby certify that the bearer hereof Negro Abraham
Forwood aged about twenty five years of light copper
complexion five feet about five feet eight and a half
inches high with a scar on the inside of his right foot
caused by the cut of an axe became free by virtue of the
last will and testament of Edward Prigg   recorded in the
Register of Wills office of the Register of Wills of Harford
County
                      In testimony whereof I ^have^ hereunto set my
             hand and affix the seal of Harford County Court
             this 25.th day of October 1841

                         Negro Gideon

    State of Maryland Harford County to wit:
                   I hereby Certify that the bearer hereof Negro Gideon
^raised in Harford County & State of Maryland^ now aged about thirty one years five feet five inches high of dark
complexion having a scar on the outer corner of his right eye
& another across the bridge of his nose became free by ^virtue of^ a deed
of Manumission executed by Isaiah Taylor on the 5th
day of June 1821 and recorded in Liber H. D. No 5 folio 97

                         In testimony whereof I hereto subscribe
                         my name &C               this 30th day
                         of Dec.r 1841
