                    Negro Harry

State of Maryland Harford County Sct
                   I hereby certify that the bearer hereof
Negro Harry about twenty six years of age of rather
light complexion who has a small scar on the breast
and has a large scar on the left arm and a large
scar on the right leg five feet seven and a half inches
high became free in virtue of a deed of Manumission
duly executed by Stephen Watters on the sixteenth
day of april seventeen hundred and Ninety
three and recorded in Liber J L G N.o M folio 24 one
of the Land Record Books of Harford County Court
                      In testimony whereof I have hereto
                      subscribed my name and affixed
                      the seal of Harford County Court this
                      sixteenth day of July 1838

                   Negro Sam

State of Maryland Harford County Sc.t
                      I hereby certify that the bearer hereof Negro Sam
about thirty one years of age dark complexion with a small scar
on his lip and also one on his forhead became free in virtue of
a Deed of Manumission duly executed by Rhesa Norriz on the
seventh day of February 1817 and recorded in Liber H. D. N.o Z folio
499 one of the Land Record Books of Harford County Court
                            In testimony whereof I hereto subscribed
                            my name and affixed the Seal of Harford
                            County Court this 14th day of August 1838
