                    Negro Henry

State of Maryland Harford County Sct
                      I hereby certify that the bearer hereof
Negro Henry of very dark complexion and middle sise
who has a scar on the chin and two scars on the right
wrist and three scars on the forehead five feet six inches
high became free in virtue of a Deed of Manumission
duly executed by Samuel Coale on the third day of
March Eighteen hundred and Nineteen and recorded
in Liber H D N.o 3 folio one of the Land Record
Books of Harford County Court
                         In testimony whereof I have hereto
                         subscribed my name and affixed
                         the seal of Harford County Court this
                         19.th day of June 1838

                   I hereby certify that the bearer hereof Negro
Maria ^about thirty years of age^ of dark complexion who has a scar over the left
eye and a small scar on the chin a small scar on the
back of her neck and says she has a large scar on the
right thigh five feet three inches high became free in virtue
of a Deed of Manumission duly Executed by Stephen
Watters on the sixteenth      day of april seventeen hundred
and ninety three and recorded in Liber J. L. G. N.o M folio
24 one of the Land record Books of Harford County
Court
                      In testimony whereof I have hereto subscribed
                      my name and affixed the
                      seal of Harford County Court this sixteenth
                      day of July 1838
