                    Negro Mary Holliz

State of Maryland Harford County Sc.t
             I hereby certify that Negro Mary Hollis the
bearer hereof aged between seventeen & eighteen years
a chesnut coloured complexion five feet four and
a quarter of an inch in height with a scar on the
top of her right wrist became free by virtue of a
Deed of Manumission from Mary Preston a free colourd
woman bearing date on the first day of September
1837   and recorded among the Land Record Books of
Harford County Court
                   In testimony whereof I hereto subscribe
                   my name and affix the seal of Harford
                   County Court this 2.d day of September
                   1837

                         Negro Harry

State of Maryland Harford County sct
                         I hereby Certify that the bearer hereof
Negro Harry of black complexion of a middle sise
who stammers in his speech has a scar on the back
of the left hand occasioned by a burn and a scar
on the inside of the right arm near the elbow and
of a yellowish appearance five feet Eight and an
half inches high became free in virtue of a Deed
of Manumission duly Executed by Rebecca Trapnell to
Negro Sylvia in and about the year Eighteen
hundred and five and recorded in Liber H. D. N.o S Folio
32 one of the Land Record Books of Harford County Court
                         In Testimony whereof I have hereto
                         subscribed my name and affixed the
                         seal of Harford County Court this 25.th day
                         of September 1837
