State of Maryland Harford County Sct
                   I hereby Certify that the bearer hereof Negro
Josiah Dorsey about twenty two years of age of a bright
yellow complexion five feet Eight inches high & stout made
became free in virtue of a Deed of Manumission Executed
by Ann Archer on the twenty fourth day of October Eighteen
hundred and thirty six and recorded among the land Record
Books of Harford County Court
                         In Testimony whereof I have hereto subscribed
                         my name and affixed the seal
                         of Harford County Court this twenty fifth
                         day of October Eighteen hundred and
                         thirty six

James Chambers about thirty years of age of dark yellow
complexion five feet seven inches high and rather slender
made and having a scar on the left wrist became free
in virtue of a Deed of Manumission Executed by Robert
Archer on the Eighteenth day of November Eighteen hundred
and thirty six and recorded among the land

                         and affixed the seal of Harford
                         County Court this third day of
                         January Eighteen hundred and
