                    Negro Mark

Maryland Harford County To wit:
            I hereby Certify that the bearer
hereof Negro Marks about fifty six years of age
five feet five inches and three quarters high
high of light complexion and has a scar on
the right of the front part of the right leg
said to have been cut by a sickle said Negro
Mark became free by virtue of a deed of
Manumission executed by Edward Prigg
bearing date the 4th day of February 1822
and Recorded in liber H D No 6 folio 21 one of
the land Record Books of Harford County Court
                In Liber H D No 1 Testimony whereof
                I hereto set my hand and affix the
                seal of Harford County Court this
                fourth day of November 1833

                Negro Edward Bond

Maryland Harford County To wit
          I hereby Certify that the bearer hereof
Negro Edward Bond about twenty two years of age five
feet Eleven inches high of light complexion with
rather high cheek Bones said Negro has a small
scar on the left wrist just above the joint
was born free and raised in Harford County
                In Testimony whereof I hereto set my
                hand and affix the seal of Harford
                Court this 19th day of December
                Eighteen hundred and thirty three
