Maryland Harford County Sct
                   I hereby Certify that the bearer hereof Negro Shem
about thirty five years of age black Complexion five feet
nine and an half inches high has a large scar on the left instep
became free in virtue of a Deed of manumission
Executed by William D Lee on the thirtieth day of
December Eighteen hundred and thirty one and
recorded in Liber H D No 5 folio 296 one of the land
record books of Harford County Court
                   In Testimony whereof I have hereto
                   subscribed my name and affixed
                   the seal of Harford County Court this
                   first day of January 1834

Maryland Harford County Sct
                   I hereby Certify that the bearer hereof Negro
Washington aged about twenty one years of rather light
Complexion five feet Eight inches high has a scar on the
right wrist became free in virtue of a Deed of Manumission
Executed by Samuel Coale on the third day of
March Eighteen hundred and nineteen and recorded
in Liber H D N.o 3 folio 106 one of the land record books
of Harford County Court
                      In Testimony whereof I have
                      hereto subscribed my name and
                      affixed the seal of Harford County
                      Court this 19.th day of February 1834
