                Negro Joe Bowser

Maryland Harford County Sct
                   I hereby certify that the bearer hereof Negro Joe
Bowser about fifty five years of age of dark complexion
five feet seven inches high has a scar on the inside of the upper
lip and a scar on the knuckle joint of the right hand running
down the fourth finger became free in virtue of a
Deed of Manumission Executed by Frances Griffith on
the fifth day of December 1812 and Recorded among the
Land Record books of Harford County Court
                      In Testimony whereof I have hereto
                      subscribed my name and affixed
                      the seal of Harford County Court this
                      30.th day of September 1833

I hereby Certify that Negro Hazzard Harris
about thirty years of age of Dark Complexion
five feet Eleven inches ^high^ has a Scar on the first
Joint of the right thumb said Negro Hazzard
became free in by virtue of a deed of Manumission
bearing date the 9th day of January
in the year Eighteen hundred and thirty two
and Recorded in Liber H D No 15 folio 125
one of the land Record Books of Harford County
Court
             In Testimony whereof I hereto set
             my hand and affix the seal of
             Harford County Court this 4th day of
             November 1833
