Maryland Harford County Sct
                   I hereby certify that the bearer hereof
it has been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer
hereof Negro Mary was born free and that she was
raised in Harford County she is five feet three
inches high dark complection round face
square made and has a scar of considerable size
on the back part of her neck and a small scar
on her left arm occasioned by a burn she is
about sixteen years of age
                   In Testimony whereof I have hereto
                   subscribed my name and
                   affixed the seal of Harford
                   County Court this twenty ninth
                   day of May Eighteen hundred
                   and thirty two

Negro Patty five feet three and three quarters
inches high dark complection thin visage
and wide mouth and has a considerable
scar on the back part of her neck occasioned
by a burn was raised in Harford County and
became free by virtue of a Deed of manumission
from John Kirk dated the twenty fifth
day of November Eighteen hundred and twenty
six and recorded in Liber H D N.o 10 folio 75
one of the land record books of Harford County Court
                   In Testimony whereof I have hereto
                   set my hand and affixed the
                   seal of my office this twenty
                   ninth day of May Eighteen
                   hundred and thirty two
