Maryland Harford County
            I hereby certify that the bearer hereof
Negro Judy Preston five feet one and a half inches
high fifty years of age slender made very black
long visage the little finger on her left hand crooked
at the first joint became free by virtue of a
Deed of Manumission from Christian Hoopman
dated the seventh day of November Eighteen hundred
and Eighteen and Recorded in Liber H D
N.o 1 folio 502 one of the land record books of
Harford County Court the said Negro was
raised in Harford County
                In Testimony whereof I have
                hereto subscribed my name
                and affixed the seal of Harford
                County Court this twenty ninth
                day of May Eighteen hundred
                and thirty two

Negro Maria five feet two and a quarter
inches high very black square made full
round face twenty six years of age was raised
in Harford County and became free in virtue
of a Deed of Manumission from Christian
Hoopman to said Negro Maria dated the
second day of June Eighteen hundred and thirty
one and recorded in Liber H D N.o 13 one of
the land Record books of Harford County Court
                In Testimony whereof I have hereto
                subscribed my name and affixed
                the seal of Harford County Court this
                twenty ninth day of May Eighteen
                hundred and thirty two
