59 of a certain Elizabeth OBryan Deceased proved in my office on the twenty fifth day of May Eighteen hundred and two a Certain Negro Woman named Ibby of dark Complexion five feet three and a half inches high about fifty years of age cripled in the forefinger of the left hand has had a sinew cut of the forefinger of the right hand Was manumitted and set free her freedom to commence at the death of the Testatrix her person Identified by a certain Elizabeth Caradine In testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribe my name and the seal of my office this first day of April Eighteen hundred and nineteen Thos C Earle Reg Wills Q A County The State of Maryland Queen Anns County To Wit Whereas application has this been made to me by a certain Negro Woman named Catharine for a certificate of her being a free Woman I do therefore hereby certify that by the last Will and testament of a certain Elizabeth OBryan deceased proved in my office on the 25 Day of May 1802 a Certain Negro Woman named Kitty of a complexion dark five feet 1¼ inches high about twenty years of age has some small scars on each wrist of both made Was manumitted and set free her freedom to commence at the death of the Testatrix her person Identified by a certain Mrs Elizabeth Caradine In testimony Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of my office this first day of April 1819 Thos C Earle Reg Wills Queen Anns County |
