The State of Maryland Queen Anns County ss  Whereas a certain
Negro Woman named Teney has this day made application to
me for Letters or Certificate of her being left free by the last Will
and Testament of John Devonish late of Queen Anns County
deceased   I do therefore hereby Certify to all persons whom
it doth or may Concern that by the last Will & Testament of a
Certain John Devonish late of Queen Anns County deceased
proved in my office on the seventeenth day of September
Eighteen hundred and Eleven a Certain Negro Woman
named Teney of a dark complexion about forty years
of age four feet Ten Ten Inches high a small scar on
the right arm none other visible Was manumitted
and set free her freedom to Commence at the expiration of'
three years from the death of the Testator her person identified
by a Certain Horatio Serivenor   In Testimony &c this 10th
Decem 1818                  Tho C Earle Rg Wills


    State of Maryland Queen Anns County To Wit
    Whereas a certain negro man named Cloudsberry
has made application to me for a Certificate of
Freedom under an act of the General assembly
of this State passed November Session Eighteen
hundred and five      I do therefore certify to all
persons whom it doth or may concern that by
the last will and Testament of a certain Sophia
Roe OBryan late of Queen Anns County deceased
duly executed on the 12.th day of June in the Year
Eighteen hundred and Seventeen and proved in
my office on the 19.th day of July in the Year Eighteen
hundred and seventeen a certain Negro
