51 by the last Will and Testament of a certain Elizabeth Sands late of Queen Anns County deceased duly executed on the 22.nd day of January ^1795^ and proved in my office on the 17.th day of May 1796 a certain negro woman named Sibinah of a dark complection Five Feet four Inches high was manumitted and set free her freedom to commence in twelve years after the decease of the said Testatrix her person identified by a certain Benjamin Covington Given under my hand this 8.th day of May in the Year Eighteen hundred and Eighteen Tho.s C Earle Reg.r wills Queen Anns County The State of Maryland Queen Anns County To Wit Whereas application has this day been made to me by a Certain Negro Woman named Stenny for a Certificate of her being a free person I do therefore hereby Certify to all persons whom it doth or may concern that by the last Will and Testament of a Certain James Kent late of Queen Anns County deceased duly executed on the 29 day of May 1802 and proved in my office on the 14 day of August 1805 a Certain Negro Woman named Henry of a yellowish complexion about thirty eight years yold five feet one Inch high hath a scar on the right arm below the Elbow occasioned by a burn her teeth much decay and out Was manumitted and set free her freedom to commence on the 24th day of December first after the death of the Testator her person Identified by a Certain Thomas Kent Given under my hand this 17 day of May 1818 Tho C Earle R Wills |
