40 Origional Now I do hereby Certify all persons whom it doth or may Concern that the said negro Man Harry had produced to me good and sufficient evidence that the aforesaid second Certificate so granted as aforesaid has been destroyed a fragment of which is before me and a Copy of the origional so granted is in the following words To wit " Maryland ss I do hereby certify to all whom it doth " Concern that by the last Will and Testament of a certain " Isaac Jump late of Queen anns County deceased duly " Executed on the eighteenth day of May eighteen hundred " and Two and proved in my office on the eighteenth day of " June Eighteen hundred and Two a Certain negro Man " named Harry aged about Twenty years old five feet seven " Inches and half inch high light complexion has a " scar on the right of his face below his right " eye and a scar on his left arm Just below his elbow " occasioned by a cut was manumitted and set free " his freedom to Commence Ten years after the Execution of " the Will his person Identified by the oath of a certain " John Browne Esq June 4.th 1812 Test Wm H Nicholson Reg Wills L S Queen anns County In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my name and the public seal of my office affire this LS Twenty eighth day of March 1816 Thomas C Earle Esq Reg Wills Q A County |
