29 the reep book was manumitted and set free her freedom to commence at the Expiration of Ten years after the first day of January succeeding the death of the Testator and proved by the oath of a Certain Isaac Winchester to be the Identical person mentioned in the said will In Testimony &c this 5th day of (Seal) May 1815 Thomas C Earle Regr Wills Maryland Queen Anns County to wit I do hereby certify all whom it doth or may concern that by the last will and Testament of a Certain William Hampton late of Queen anns County deceased duly executed on the Tenth day of March one thousand seven hundred and ninety Eight and proved in my office on the Sixth day of October Eighteen hundred and three a certain negro woman named Darky of a Dark complexion five feet one and a half Inch high about forty years of age hath a scar on the left rist about three Inches about the rist bone and one on the right rist was manumitted and set free her freedom to commence at the day of the death of the Testator and Identified by the oath of a certain Isaac Winchister to be the Identical person mentioned in said Will In Testimony &.c this 5 day of (Seal) May 1815 Thomas C Earle Reg Wills |
