27 Maryland Queen Anns County sst I do hereby certify all whom it doth or may concern that by the last Will and Testament of a certain Charles Kertland late of Queen Anns County deceased duly executed on the twenty fifth day of October 1804 and proved in my office on the twenty ninth day of December Eighteen hundred and Ten A Certain Mulatto Girl named Kitty of very bright complexion five feet two and a fourth Inch high about eighteen years of age hath a urn on the left Shoulder was manumitted and set free her freedom to commence at the death of the said Charles Kertland and proved by the Oath of a Certain Thomas Wooters to be the identical person as mentioned in said Will In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my name and affixed the public seal of my office this 1st day of April 1815 LS Thomas C Earle Reg.r Wills for Queen Anns County Maryland sst I do hereby Certify all whom it doth or may concern that by the last will and Testament of a Certain Thomas Buckley late of queen Anns County deceased duly executed on the first day of August Eighteen hundred and three and proved in my office on the 31st day of January Eighteen hundred and four a certain negroe Man named Charles of a yellowish Complexion five feet nine and a fourth Inches high about thirty four years of age hath a very remarkable scar on the bone of the left Cheek just below the eye and another on the right Cheek was manumitted and set free his freedom to commence on the expiration of Ten Years from the date thereof In Testimony &c this fifth april 1815 (seal) Thomas C Earle Regr Wills Q A County |
