26) hundred and fourteen a certain negro woman named Esther about thirty four years of age four feet eleven Inches and an half high of a bright yellow complexion with a scar over her left ear occasioned by a burn was manumitted and set free her person to commence at the death of the said Priscilla Wilmer Her person identified by the Oath of Pere Wilmer Test (seal) W.m H Nicholson Reg.r Dec.r 5.th 1814 Queen Anns County Maryland ss I do hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that by the last will and Testament of James Kent duly executed on the twenty ninth day of May Eighteen hundred and two and proved in my office on the fourteenth day of August Eighteen hundred and five a certain negro woman named Suck Berry of a yellowish complexion four feet eleven and an half Inches high about forty five years of age with a scar above the left eye occasioned by a cut and another on her right arm immediately below the elbow her face much marked by the small pox was manumitted and set free her freedom to commence on the first day of January Eighteen hundred and fourteen her person identified by the Oath of Elizabeth Vansandt In Testimony whereof I hereto set my hand (seal) and affix the seal of my office this 27.th day of December Eighteen hundred and fourteen W.m H Nicholson Reg.r Queen Anns County |
