State of Maryland Queen Anns County To Wit
       I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern
that a certain negro woman named Hannah now
about thirty nine years old five feet four inches high
of dark ^light^ complexion & has a small scar on her right
breast was manumitted & set free by the last
will & testament of a certain Sam.l W Thomas
dated 11th August 1829 & admitted to probat in
my office August 26th 1829  her freedom to commence
at the age of thirty five years  her person Identified
by the evidence of a certain Kensey Harrison
Esq
               In testimony whereof I have hereto
(Seal)      set my name & affixed the seal
                of my office this 11th Nov.r 1848

                                  for Queen Anns Co


State of Maryland Queen Anns County to wit

       I hereby certify to all persons whom it doth or
may concern that a certain mulatto man named
London now about thirty one years old five feet
nine & a half inches high & has been injured in his
left eye  was manumitted & set free by the last
will & testament of a certain Margaret Lowry
dated 25th May 1825 & admitted to probat in my
office on the 3rd day of March 1827  his freedom
to commence when he is thirty years old  his
person Identified by the evidence of a certain
William O Lowery
                   In testimony whereof I have hereunto
                   set my name & affixed the seal
(Seal)          of my office this 14th Nov.r 1848
