25 Maryland ss I do hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that by the last will and Testament of Jonathan Roberts duly executed on the twelfth day of November seventeen hundred and ninety six and proved in my office on the twenty seventh day of July seventeen hundred and ninety seven a certain negro man named Mordecai aged about twenty five years five feet four Inches high yellowish complexion with several scars on the back of his left hand occasioned by burns and one on his left wrist occasioned by a cut was manumitted and set free his freedom to commence on the first day of January Eighteen hundred and Eleven his person identified by the Oath of Ann Kennard Test Wm H Nicholson Reg.r June 1.st 1814 Queen Anns County (seal) Maryland ss I do hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that by the last will & Testament of William Willson Emory duly executed on the twenty seventh day of October seventeen hundred and ninety four and proved in my office on the sixteenth day of December seventeen hundred and ninety four a certain negro woman named Silva aged about thirty five years four feet ten Inches and one fourth of an Inch high of a dark complexion with no particular distinguishing mark was manumitted and set free her freedom to commence on the twenty fifth day of December Eighteen hundred and one her person identified by the oath of Mary Fieharty Test Aug.t 17 1814 W.m H Nicholson Reg.r (seal) Queen Anns County Maryland sst I do hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that by the last will and Testament of Priscilla Wilmer duly executed on the twenty third day of March Eighteen hundred and thirteen and proved in my office on the twenty eighth day of May eighteen |
