Maryland Queen Anns County To wit       Certificate renewed first
                                                                   having been lost
I hereby Certify that a certain negro woman named Lucy now
about fifty four years old of dark complexion five feet high and
has a large mark on her ^mark on her right cheek &^ Scar on her right arm above the
Elbow & also a mole on her her right side was manumitted
and set free by the last will and Testament of a certain
Arthur Emory dated on the 8th day of March 1807 and admitted
to probat in my office on the 7th day of April
1807 her freedom to Commence on the 8th day of March
Eighteen hundred and twenty & her person identified
by a certain Daniel Emory
                               In testimony whereof I have hereunto
(Seal)                      set my & affixed the seal of my
                               office this 14th day of April 1846

                                                 for Queen Anns County


Maryland Qun Anns County to wit
                I hereby certify that a certain negro woman
named Maria now about forty eight years
of age five feet three inches and is of yellow complexion
without any particular marks or scars
was manumitted and set free by the last will
and Testament of a certain Jacob Winchester
dated on the 10.th no.r 1805 and admitted to probat
in my office on the 6.th day May 1806 her freedom
to commence on the first day January 1830 her
person Identified by a certain Jacob Baxter
                        In Testimony whereof I have hereunto
                        set my name and affixed the seal
(Seal)               of my office this 5th day May
