238 Maryland Queen Anns County to Wit I hereby Certify that a certain mulatto woman named Ann Dudley now about thirty years of age five feet one and three quarter Inches high and has a small Scar on her left hand near the wrist was manumitted and set free by the last will and testament of a certain John Hurlock dated on the 29th day of September 1838 and admitted to probat in my office on the 30th day of December 1842 her freedom to commence on the first day of January Eighteen hundred and forty six her person Identified by the Evidence of a certain George T Hurlock In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my name and affixed the seal of my office this 14th day of April 1846 Lem.l Roberts Reg.r Wills for Queen Anns County Maryland Queen Anns County to wit I hereby Certify that a certain mulatto man named Henry aged about 30 Years five feet three inches high & has a scar on his left fore finger was manumitted & set free by the last will and testament of a certain John Browne dated 12th Dec.r 1815 and admitted to probat in my office on the 23rd December 1815 his freedom to commence on the 1st January 1846 his person Identified by a certain Tho.s Brown In testimony whereof I have hereunto Set my name & affixed the seal of my office this 15th April 1846 Leml Roberts Reg wills |
