230 I do hereby certify that a certain negro Girl named Mary Ann aged about eighteen years five feet two inches high yellow complexion no particular scar was manumitted and set free by a codicil to the last will and Testament of a certain Alfred Jones dated on the 15th of February 1831 and admitted to probat in my office on the 18.th of April 1831 her freedom to commence at the death of his wife (now deceased) his ^her^ person Identified by the evidence of a certain Sam.l Bryan In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my name and affixed the seal (Seal) of my office this 27.th day May Anno Domini 1845 Leml Roberts Reg.r wills for Qun Ann Co Maryland Queen Anns County to wit I hereby Certify that a certain negro woman named Rachael now about thirty Years old five feet one inch high of tolerable dark complexion & has no Scar or mark at this time was manumitted & set free by the last will and testament of a certain Margaret Chambers dated on the 2nd August 1824 & admitted to probat in my office on the 28th November 1838 her freedom to Commence at the age of twenty five Years and her person Identified by the Evidence of a certain Richard Carter In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set (Seal) my name & affixed the seal of my office this 31st day of March 1845 Lem.l Roberts Reg wills for Queen Anns County |
