I do hereby certify that a certain Negro man
named James Foreman aged about twenty
one years if feet five and a half inches
high not very black has a small scar on
his left cheek bone was manumitted and
set free by ^a codicil to the^ the last will and Testament of a
certain Alfred Jones dated on the 15th
February 1831 and admitted to probat in
my office on the 18.th April 1831 his freedom
to commence at the death of his wife (now
deceased) his person identified by the evidence
of a certain Samuel Bryan
                   In Testimony whereof I have
                hereunto set my name and affixed
    (Seal)   the seal of my office this 27.th day
                of May Anno Domini 1845

named Margaret Ann aged about sixteen
years five feet one and a half inches high
yellow complexion no particular scar scar
was manumitted and set free by a codicil
to the last will and Testament of a certain
Alfred Jones dated on the 15.th day of February
1831 and admitted to probat in my office
on the 18.th day of April 1831 his ^her^ freedom to
commence at the death of his wife (now
