228 Maryland Queen Anns County To wit I hereby Certify that a certain Negro man named Jacob Arthur Heath now about twenty five years old light complexion five feet eight & a quarter inches high and has a scar on his forehead & a larger one on his breast was manumitted & set free by the last will and testiment of a certain Jessee Heath dated 14th Jany 1831 and admitted to probat in my office on the 26th day of February of the same Year his freedom to commence when the debts of the said Jessee Heath are satisfied which has been done according to the Evidence of Roderick Earekson Adm.r of Heaths Executor his person Identified by the Evidence of John C. Tolson In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my name and affixed the seal of my office this 7th May 1845 L Maryland Queen Anns County to wit I hereby certify that a certain negro man named John Browser aged twenty seven years is five feet seven inches high of black complexion has a scar on the left cheek was free born and was identified indented to a certain Francis Emory to serve until twenty one years of age his person identified by the evidence of a certain William Emory In Testimony whereof I have hereunto (seal) set my name and affixed the seal of my office this 13th day May 1845 Leml Roberts Reg.r wills for Qun Ans County |
