227 State of Maryland Qun Ans County to wit I do hereby certify that a certain negro woman named Eliza Ringgold aged about forty years five feet four inches high dark complexion has a small scar on her right arm was manumitted and set free by the last will and Testament of a certain Joseph Baxter dated January 28.th 1845 and admitted to probat in my office on the 6.th day of May 1845 the said negro to be free at his death her person Identified by a certain Jacob Baxter who is also the executor and oldest heir and says she is entitled to her freedom In Testimony whereof I have (Seal) hereunto set my name and the seal of my office affixed this 6.th day of May 1845 Lem Roberts Reg.r wills for Qun Ans County State of Maryland Qun Anns County to wit I do hereby certify that a certain negro man named James Rolls aged about thirty years five feet eight and a half inches high dark complexion has no particular sar on his person was manumitted and set free by the last will and Testament of a certain WIlliam Bryan dated August 30.th 1830 and admitted to probat in my office on the 12.th day of march 1831 the said negro to be free at the age of thirty years his person Identified by a certain William Bryan In Testimony whereof I have hereunto (Sael) set my name and the seal of my office affixed this 6.th day May 1845 Leml Roberts Regr wills for Queen Anns County |
