State of Maryland Queen Anns County To wit
             I hereby Certify that a certain Negro man named
Richard Green about twenty one Years of age five feet
Seven and half inches high Black Complexion flat nose
has a scar on the out side of his right foot also a scar
on his right knee and is the son of a negro woman
named Emily Green and was born free and his
person and evidence of freedom having been Identified
by the evidence of a Certain Mathias George
                      In Testimony whereof I have hereunto
(Seal)             set my name and affixed the seal
                      of my office this 12th day of march 1844

State of Maryland Queen Anns County to wit
    I do hereby Certify that a certain negro man
named Isaac now about thirty Years of age dark
Complexion about five feet four ¾ inches in hight
^& of a pleasant Countenance^ was manumitted and set free by the last will
and Testament of a certain Frances Emory
dated on the thirteenth day of march Eighteen
hundred & twenty two and admitted to
probat ^in my office^ on the 24th day of September 1822
his person Identified by the evidence of
a certain William Emory
                   In Testimony whereof I have
                   hereunto set my name and

                   this 8th day of may 1844
