    State of Maryland Queen Anns County To wit
             I do hereby Certify that a certain Negro man named
Frisby now about twenty seven Years of age dark complexion
has a scar on his breast six feet and one inch in hight
very spare  was manumitted and set free by the last
Will and Testament of a certain William Hemsley
dated on the 7th day of May Eighteen hundred and
twenty one and admitted to probat in my office
November 25th 1825 his freedom to commence in the
Year 1842 his person Identified by the Evidence of a
Certain William Hemsley
                      In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set
    (Seal)         my name and affixed the seal of my
                      office this 28th day of December 1844

    State of Maryland Queen Anns County To wit
                I hereby Certify that a certain negro man
named Hines about forty Years of age  five feet and
one inch in hight ^of a rather light complexion^ has a scar over each temple
and one on his right leg  Was manumitted and
set free by the last will and Testament of a certain
Eleanor Tilghman dated on the 12th day of February
Eighteen hundred and twenty one and admitted
to probat in my office on the twentieth day of
February Eighteen hundred and twenty one his freedom
to Commence on the first day of January Eighteen
hundred & forty four
                   In Testimony whereof I have hereunto
    (Seal)      set my name & affixed the seal of my office
                   this 2nd day of January 1844
