Jones dated on the 15th day of February 1831 and admitted
to probat in my office on the 18th day of April 1831 his
freedom to commence at the death of said Testators wife
(now deceased) his person Identified by the Evidence
of a certain Robert Larrimore
                                  In Testimony whereof I have
                         hereunto set my name and affixed
    (Seal)            the Seal of my office this 31st day of
                         October 1843

State of Maryland Queen Anns County To wit
             I do hereby Certify that a certain negro woman
named Rachael aged about 49 Years five feet and
half an inch in hight of light complexion and has
a scar on her left Temple was manumitted and set
free by a codicil to the last Will and Testament of
a certain Alfred Jones dated on the 15th day of February
1831 and admitted to probat in my office on the 18th day
of April 1831 her freedom to commence at the death of his
wife (now deceased) her person Identified by the evidence
of a certain Robert S Bryan
                            In Testimony whereof I have hereunto
(Seal)                   set my name and affixed the Seal of
                            my office this 31st day of October 1843
