    Queen Anns County Orphans Court
          I hereby certify that a certain Negro man named Clenis
aged about 42 years five feet 10 Inches high of a light
complexion has a scar on his right wrist was manumitted
and set free by the last will and Testament of a certain
Sarah E. Mitchell dec.d received in my Office on the 18.th
day of December 1834 his freedom to commence whenever
it can be done agreeably to law his person being identified
by the evidence of a certain CHarles Browne
                In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set
    (seal)   my name and affixed the seal of my Office
                this 21st day of December Anno Domini 1841
                                              Tho C Earle Reg Wills
                                                    for Queen Anns County
                                                    State of Maryland


    I hereby certify that a certain negro man named Ned
Thomas aged about 25 Years five feet 8 Inches high not
very black has a scar on his under lip was manumitted
and set free by the last Will and Testament of a certain
Elizabeth Maxwell duly executed on the 21.st day
January 1831 and admitted to probat in my office on
the 19.th day of February 1831 his freedom to commence on
the 1.st day of January 1837 his person identified by the
evidence of a certain Darrington Gbson
                   In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my
    (Seal)      name and the seal of my office this first day
                   of January 1842              Tho C Earle Reg W
                                                            for Queen A County
                                                                  Maryland
