and Testament of a certain Richard J Harrison duly executed
on the 24 Nov 1831 and admitted to probat in my office on
6 Dec.r 1831 her freedom to commence on the 1.st day of January 1840
and her person being identified by the evidence of a certain W.m

          I hereby certify that a certain negro woman named
Harriett aged about thirty nine years five feet one and a
half inches high of a yellow Complexion and has lost several
of her teeth was manumitted and set free by the last Will
& Testament of a certain Philemon Thomas dec.d duly executed on
the 28 Nov.r 1831 and admitted to probat my office on the
19 Dec.r 1831 and her freedom to commence on the 1.st Jany 1837
and her person being identified by the evidence of a certain
Samuel F Kennard
                   In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my
    [Seal]      name and affixed the seal of my office this
                   12 day of Oct.r 1840      Tho C Earle Reg Wills
                                                        for Queen Anns County


    Queen Anns County ss  December Term 1841
             This is to certify that a certain Negro man named
George Pere heath aged twenty One years five feet 10½ Inches
high of a brown complexion was Indentured to a certain
John C Legg on the 23 day of July 1831 to learn the art and
mystery of a farmer until his arrival to the age of 21 years
his freedom to commence on 1.st January 1841 and his person
being identified by the evidence of Roderick Earickson
