194 In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my name [Seal] and affixed the seal of my office this 26.th day of April 1839 Tho C Earle Reg Wills for Queen Anns County Maryland Queen Anns County ss I certify that a certain negro man named Chamberlaine aged about 28 years 5 feet 7 Inches high very black has no particular marks was manumitted and set free by the last Will and Testament of a certain Robert Butler late of Queen Anns County dec.d duly executed on the 8 February 1831 and admitted to Probat in my office on the 30 Sep.t 1834 her freedom to commence on the 1.st Jany 1839 and his person being identified by the evidence of a certain W.m Harper In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my name [Seal] and affixed the seal of my office this 2.d day of May 1839 Tho C Earle Reg Wills for Queen Anns County Maryland Queen Anns County to wit I hereby certify that a certain negro man named Bob aged about 21 years five 4¼ Inches high very Black was manumated and set free by the last Will and Testament of a certain John H Collins late of Queen Anns County deceased duly executed on the 31 day of December 1826 and admitted to Probat in my office the 19 day of May 1827 his freedom to commence on the 19 day of May 1827 and his person being identified by William Grason Govenor of the State of Maryland In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my (seal) name and affixed the seal of my office this 9.th day of May 1839 Tho C Earle Reg Wi for Queen A County |
