and that the issue of said Maria to be free at the age of 21 years
of which the said negro man Daniel Rosher is one his freedom to commence
on 1.st Janry 1831 and his person being identified by a certain
W.m Groson

       State of Maryland Queen Anns County to wit
          I hereby certify that by the last will and Testament of a certain
James Duhamel late of Queen Anns County Dec.d duly executed on the
twentieth day of August eighteen hundred and sixten and admitted to
Probat on the twenty ninth day of September Eighteen hundred and
seventeen a certain mulatto man named Phill now about forty two or
three years of age a bright mulatto five feet in height having a
remarkable scar on his Breast bone was manumitted and set free by
the said Testator when he shall have arrived at the age of thirty five
years the said mulatto man Phill was identified and his age proved
by a certain James Stant of said County
                      In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my name
    (Seal)         and affixed the public seal of my Office this 28.th
                      day of Dec.r Anno Domini 1837   Tho C Earle Reg Will
                                                                         for Queen Anns County


       State of Maryland Queen Anns County to wit
          I hereby certify that by the last will & testament for a certain
Mary Barnes late of Queen Anns County dec.d duly executed on the 7.th
day of June 1797 and admitted to probat in the 13.th day of June 1898
a certain Negro Girl named Jill and her issue both male and
female to the remotest generation were manumitted and set free
when she and the said issue shall severally arrive at the age of
twenty five years now a certain mulatto woman named
Ann otherwise called Ann Reese about thirty two or three years
of age a bright mulatto 4 feet 1¼ Inches high was identified
