180 The State of Maryland Queen Anns County to wit I do hereby certify to all persons whom it doth or may concern that by the last Will and Testament of a certain Edmond Farrel late of Queen Anns County dec.d duly Executed on the nineteenth day of January 1810 and proved in my office on the 16 day of July in the same year a certain negro man named Jacob commonly called Jacob Bordley now about 40 years of age of a Dark complexion five feet nine Inches high he is blind in his right Eye also a scar over his wright Eye was manumitted and set free his freedom to commence when he arrives at the age of twenty six years his person was identified by a certain Susannah Rogers Given under my hand & seal this 22 day [seal] of September 1836 Tho C Earle Reg Wils for Queen Anns County Maryland Queen Anns County to wit I hereby certify that a certain negro man by the name of Valentine aged about 31 years five feet 7½ inches high small scar by his left Eye Dark Complexion was manumated and set free by the last will and Testament of a certain Philip Feddeman duly Executed on the 18.th day of July 1821 and admitted to probat in my office on the 23.d July 1822 his freedom to commece on the 5 Febry 1834 and his person being identified by the Oath of a certain Given under my hand and the seal of my office [seal] this 20.th day of February 1837 Tho C Earle Reg Wills for Queen Anns County I hereby certify that a certain negro man named Christopher otherwise called Kit aged about twenty five years five feet 6½ inches in height and has a Dark Complexion has no scars on him was manumated and set free by the last will and Testament of a certain Thomas Murphy duly executed on the 3.d day of November 1831 and admitted to probat |
